Butter cookie, is the simplest cookie that you can bake with one eye open and served together with warm milk or tea during tea time. Here I'm sharing with to you guys one of my recipe about butter cookie from Jo Lil Kitchen~ Enjoy!
This recipe can make about 100 pcs of cookies.

Ingredient:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 sticks (1 cup/227 gram)unsalted powder, softened (SCS brand is highly recommend)
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
Preparation:
In a bowl, sift together flour, salt and baking powder. On the other side, beat butter inside a mixer bowl until creamy (beat from slow to fast speed) and add sugar in gradually. Continue with egg and vanilla essence then only the flour mixture scope by scope. Slowly beat the mixture to form a dough.
Set the dough aside and wrap with wax paper then chill for 2-3 hour. Preheat oven at 150c and lightly butter the baking tray.
Now you may shaped out your cookie little by little and arrange it on the baking tray. Baked at 150c for 30 mins (according to your preference on the colour of your cookie). I press my cookie with a fork as it's too plain.
This cookie are easy to handle as it doesn't leave much crumbs, yet melt in mouth and crispy at the same time.:)
Note:
Add a little bit more flour if you wanted to shape your dough into various kind of cute cookies.
Dough can be kept frozen, wrapped in aluminium foil for 2 month.
You may pipe out the dough using Nozzle no. 853 for flower pattern.
